At Olive Branch for Kids, we provide more than just childcare, we create a home away from home: a welcoming space where every child feels safe, loved, and allowed to be themselves.
This is a place where children and families from all backgrounds are valued, respected celebrated and supported. Our goal is to help each child build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
We understand that every child learns in their own way, so we design activities that support different needs, strengths, and interests using Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a teaching and pedagogy framework that helps make learning accessible and effective for all children. UDL offers multiple ways to access information, engage with the material, and demonstrate their learning. This flexibility allows learning to take place in ways that are most effective for each individual child.
Here at Olive Branch for Kids, we embrace collaborative learning, which includes the child, parent, and teacher. This is sometimes called the "triangle method," where each role is connected and vital to supporting the child.
Like the olive branch is a symbol of peace, we are committed to providing a peaceful, calm, and safe space for all

Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of everything we do. Extending ourselves for children and families is what we love.

Both our indoor and outdoor classroom areas provide a special place where children can happily explore the world around them in a cozy, home-away-from-home environment. This kind of setting plays an important role in helping children grow creatively and socially.
We believe that smaller environments can be essential for children adjusting to being away from their parents for the first time and may help them feel more at ease. Our small group setting ensures personalized care and attention, helping each child learn, explore, and grow with confidence.
Simply stated: we want to engage children in learning through play and real-life experiences, encourage them to learn on their own, and empower them as they grow at their own pace in a warm, caring, Christian atmosphere!
Our facility is thoughtfully designed to support children who thrive and feel happiest in smaller group settings, and who benefit from more personalized, hands-on, one-on-one attention.

We use positive reinforcement and redirection techniques. Additionally, we always include the parent since we follow the triangle method= Parent-Teacher-Child. The Parent and the Teacher are the anchors on each side that support the child. This method allows everyone to work together for the success of the child.
We prefer a play-based learning approach. This educational method allows children to learn by engaging in playful activities that encourage exploration, discovery, and natural skill development—all while having fun!
We understand the importance of teaching children to appreciate differences, recognize abilities, and embrace fairness, while building relationships grounded in kindness, respect, and empathy.
This approach is woven into every aspect of our program, reflecting our dedication to preparing children for life in a multicultural and diverse world.
Busy Beginners (Infants – 12 months)
Playtime consists of small, interactive sessions throughout the day, focusing on activities such as face-to-face interaction, making sounds, singing, and tummy time. We explore different textures and safe objects, gradually increasing the complexity of play as motor skills develop.
Early Explorers (12 – 24 months)
Focus areas include social skills, colors, shapes, numbers, and the alphabet.
Cognitive development targets memory, attention, focus, logical reasoning, and problem-solving.
We support this through activities like sorting blocks and puzzles, interactive reading, nature exploration, music activities, simple science experiments, and pattern recognition.
Little Learners (2 – 3 years)
Building on the previous skills, focus expands to include fine and gross motor skills, social skills, and recognition of colors, shapes, numbers, and the alphabet.
Active Achievers (4 – 5+ years)
This group continues to develop all of the earlier skills and is introduced to phonics, reading, basic math concepts, and writing.
